Shipping Policy

1. Where we ship
We currently ship to the following destinations from our warehouse in Slovenia:

Estimates are from dispatch (not from order) and assume working days (Monday–Friday, excluding Slovenian public holidays).
2. Cost
Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on destination and cart weight. You see the exact cost before you pay — there are no hidden fees.
Free standard shipping is available on orders over €150 within the EU/EEA.
3. Dispatch
We dispatch orders within 1–2 working days of payment confirmation. Orders containing items sourced from a brand's B2B portal may take up to 5 working days to dispatch — this is shown on the product page and in the order confirmation.
4. Carriers
Depending on destination, your order is handled by one of:
- Pošta Slovenije — domestic and EU small parcels
- DHL — express EU, UK, CH
- GLS — standard EU ground
The carrier is chosen to balance speed and cost. You receive a tracking link by email once the parcel is dispatched.
5. Customs and duties
- EU/EEA destinations: no customs, no duties. VAT is included in the price you see (we are VAT-registered in Slovenia and use the EU OSS scheme).
- UK, CH and other non-EU: you are the importer of record. Local VAT and customs duties may apply and are payable on delivery. We declare the correct commercial value on the customs form.
6. Undeliverable parcels
If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, refused delivery, or non-collection from a pickup point, we will contact you. We can re-send the parcel (you pay a new shipping fee) or refund the order minus the actual outbound shipping cost.
7. Lost or damaged parcels
If your parcel does not arrive within 7 working days of the estimated delivery date (or 15 working days for non-EU), email us at hello@lemonabird.com with your order number. We will open an investigation with the carrier and either re-ship or refund once the claim is resolved.
For visibly damaged parcels, please photograph the packaging before opening, note the damage on the carrier's delivery sheet, and email us within 48 hours.
8. Right of withdrawal
Delivery of goods does not remove your 14-day right of withdrawal — see the Returns & Refund Policy.
